DJ Mixes

DeepLink
While working as a DJ in local clubs and venues, it’s only natural that I’ve gathered many great deep, soulful, jazzy house tracks. I began exploring good dance music in my teenage years in the late ’90s, and I’m still going strong. Over the years, I’ve been asked to mix some of the best house tracks for my friends and fans, so I decided it would be cool to share them online with the broadest possible audience. I’ve got plenty of DeepLink DJ Mixes on this website, feel free to listen, and if you really like them, download and share them with other house music lovers. Enjoy.
Deep Retro Grooves
Here is a collection of music I’ve cherished for a long time. Even now, I can still listen to it as if it were new. It features some of the oldest and finest house and deep house productions that feel timeless to me. Call it classics, retro, roots, yet it’s so much more than that. This music represents some of the best years of my life; it was my mainstream house for a long time, and it still is. For many listeners, though, it may feel underground.
Mix The Groove
This section of the site is dedicated to my online radio show, the DJ residency I hosted in 2007–2008 on UK internet radio MixTheGroove. Although the station eventually shut down, I preserved the shows as downloadable MP3s. Each episode is a pure DJ mix, it was music only with no talk. Every week, I carefully selected and blended some of the best and more niche deep, soulful, jazzy, and tech-house tracks. I hope you enjoy them.
Live DJ sets
On this page you’ll find my DJ sets, recorded live at some of my favorite clubs and venues. I was a resident DJ for many years, spinning four nights a week at the legendary Club Contrast, and I also held a resident night at Paradiso discotheque in Novi Sad. Lounge Café was the last venue where I performed weekly before moving to New York City. Each set offers a distinct vibe, and I encourage you to listen and download. The music is 99% house, with strong influences from Jazz, Nu-Jazz, Soul, Funk, and Afro-Latin rhythms and other elements.
Radio Shows
I’ve spent more than ten years as a DJ on numerous local radio stations in my city, and I’ve always enjoyed mixing new electronic music and curating engaging radio programs. Radio is wonderful because you know someone’s listening, even if you don’t know who they are or how many are tuned in. However, I didn’t record many of my DJ sets, though I did capture a few of my latest sessions from my favorite radio station ever, IN RADIO Novi Sad (1998–2009, R.I.P.). My main goal was to promote new and classic deep, soulful, funky, jazzy, Latin, and tech-house music while having fun in the process. These radio shows were recorded exclusively without my talk, just good old house music. Thanks for listening.
Long DJ Mixes
Years ago, while browsing my precious music collection, I began to imagine mixing my favorite tracks into an epic, long DJ set. I wanted a flow that could traverse different styles and folders from my computer (1973–2003), not for technical perfection, but to create something immersive I could listen to while pursuing other creative pursuits. It took me a lot of time to prepare and blend these long mixes, but the payoff was worth it. I cared less about technical details and more about music selection. After months of preparation, I finally launched this huge project, and now we have four ultra-long DJ mixes that showcase some of the best talents in electronic and contemporary music.
Guest Mixes
As you can tell, I’ve spent a lot of time mixing and recording my DJ sets. I didn’t have much time to record and mix for other internet sites or organize things, so I ended up with only two recorded DJ mixes to share. I know that isn’t a lot, but I’m excited to put them out there anyway. I hope you’ll enjoy these two deep, jazzy, soulful mixes I produced for the DeepGroove Show & DeepGroove Show.
This mix name pays homage to Davidson Ospina’s track “Imagine Music.” After collecting a few more standout house tracks, I felt it was time to craft a soulful, jazzy deep-house DJ mix. I truly love House Music—the groove lifts my spirit, energizes me, and keeps my soul happy. Much respect to the great deep, jazzy, and soulful house producers and vocalists who create this magic, including those behind “Imagine Music.”: Jeymes Samuel, Markus Enochson feat Aaron Phiri, Jada, Sir Piers & Los Amigos Invisibles, Steal Vybe feat Stephanie Renee, Breakpoint feat Jon Banfield, Fanatix feat Kele Le Roc, Graceland feat Billie, Chuck Love, One Track Minds, Shik Stylkø & D'Stephanie feat Melissa Anckaert, Davidson Ospina feat Henderson, Magik Johnson

Once again, we celebrated life, great house music, and our friend Srdjan Bovan’s birthday. This was a memorable party, Srdjan mixed drinks while I spun music, a set full of melodic, soulful, funky, disco, and house sounds. And yes, I was feeling the night (as usual). Big thanks to these names we tipped our hats to: Sumo, Mateo & Matos, E-Man, Jafrosax, KOT, Reel People, Haldo, Sound Navigators, Madrid De Los Austrias...
This Lounge Cafe live set runs over four hours, with a happy crowd and nonstop music. It was a chilly November night outside, but warm inside the lounge as we served lounge and deep house all night. Like other Lounge Cafe mixes, it starts mellow and builds into funkier grooves. Check out the lineup: Sam & Gigi, Jersey Street, Marlon D, Blvd East, Louie Lou Gorbea, Atelewo, Osunlade, Funky Green Dogs, King Unique, Rhythm Slaves, Demarkus Lewis...
This last radio show I recorded and saved for the future is fantastic. It blends spiritual, organic, and uplifting house sounds to lift you up. It’s deep yet energetic, perfect for parties and clubbing, but also great for home listening. Funky with a jazzy edge, it dives into a bit of filtering and includes a few pumping tech tracks. A great mix for night entertainment and gatherings. Big thanks to Marlon D, Sumo, Gabi Newman, Sam & Gigi, Natasha Lew, 12 Fingers, Viviane Cruz, Johnny Fiasco, and Joshua for their support.
