DJ Mixes

DeepLink
While working as a DJ in local clubs and venues, it’s only natural that I’ve gathered many great deep, soulful, jazzy house tracks. I began exploring good dance music in my teenage years in the late ’90s, and I’m still going strong. Over the years, I’ve been asked to mix some of the best house tracks for my friends and fans, so I decided it would be cool to share them online with the broadest possible audience. I’ve got plenty of DeepLink DJ Mixes on this website, feel free to listen, and if you really like them, download and share them with other house music lovers. Enjoy.
Deep Retro Grooves
Here is a collection of music I’ve cherished for a long time. Even now, I can still listen to it as if it were new. It features some of the oldest and finest house and deep house productions that feel timeless to me. Call it classics, retro, roots, yet it’s so much more than that. This music represents some of the best years of my life; it was my mainstream house for a long time, and it still is. For many listeners, though, it may feel underground.
Mix The Groove
This section of the site is dedicated to my online radio show, the DJ residency I hosted in 2007–2008 on UK internet radio MixTheGroove. Although the station eventually shut down, I preserved the shows as downloadable MP3s. Each episode is a pure DJ mix, it was music only with no talk. Every week, I carefully selected and blended some of the best and more niche deep, soulful, jazzy, and tech-house tracks. I hope you enjoy them.
Live DJ sets
On this page you’ll find my DJ sets, recorded live at some of my favorite clubs and venues. I was a resident DJ for many years, spinning four nights a week at the legendary Club Contrast, and I also held a resident night at Paradiso discotheque in Novi Sad. Lounge Café was the last venue where I performed weekly before moving to New York City. Each set offers a distinct vibe, and I encourage you to listen and download. The music is 99% house, with strong influences from Jazz, Nu-Jazz, Soul, Funk, and Afro-Latin rhythms and other elements.
Radio Shows
I’ve spent more than ten years as a DJ on numerous local radio stations in my city, and I’ve always enjoyed mixing new electronic music and curating engaging radio programs. Radio is wonderful because you know someone’s listening, even if you don’t know who they are or how many are tuned in. However, I didn’t record many of my DJ sets, though I did capture a few of my latest sessions from my favorite radio station ever, IN RADIO Novi Sad (1998–2009, R.I.P.). My main goal was to promote new and classic deep, soulful, funky, jazzy, Latin, and tech-house music while having fun in the process. These radio shows were recorded exclusively without my talk, just good old house music. Thanks for listening.
Long DJ Mixes
Years ago, while browsing my precious music collection, I began to imagine mixing my favorite tracks into an epic, long DJ set. I wanted a flow that could traverse different styles and folders from my computer (1973–2003), not for technical perfection, but to create something immersive I could listen to while pursuing other creative pursuits. It took me a lot of time to prepare and blend these long mixes, but the payoff was worth it. I cared less about technical details and more about music selection. After months of preparation, I finally launched this huge project, and now we have four ultra-long DJ mixes that showcase some of the best talents in electronic and contemporary music.
Guest Mixes
As you can tell, I’ve spent a lot of time mixing and recording my DJ sets. I didn’t have much time to record and mix for other internet sites or organize things, so I ended up with only two recorded DJ mixes to share. I know that isn’t a lot, but I’m excited to put them out there anyway. I hope you’ll enjoy these two deep, jazzy, soulful mixes I produced for the DeepGroove Show & DeepGroove Show.
As an active resident DJ, I spent many nights behind the decks week after week. Over time, I realized I was steering my music toward pleasing a passionate crowd, which isn’t the best approach. So I pressed reset and returned to my musical roots: deep and soulful underground house. In this mix, I’ve curated and mixed tracks of genuinely high quality—ones I can still enjoy 15 or 25 years from now. It’s deeper, more jazzy, and funkier, with a stronger sense of soul. Here are the artists you’ll hear in this mix: Modern Quartet, Russ Gabriel's Audio Spectrum, Alton Miller, Nuages, Eglantine, Toni Mono, MD Company, Dance Or Die, Jovonn & DJ Deep, D'Julz Blaze, Incognito, DJ Q, Alison David & The Black Science Orchestra, Mood II Swing, Mateo & Matos
What does it take to be a DJ? Beyond a trusty mixer, decks, headphones, and style, great dance music is the real crowd-pleaser on the floor. For this mix, I’ve curated some of the best “cyber disco” tracks with a touch of tech and progressive house. You’ll notice a few artists you’ll hear here and probably nowhere else—and that’s part of the point. This is a future-tech disco DJ set, perfect for fans of faster, high-energy grooves. I hope you enjoy discovering these great artists, such as: Motel 6, Matthew Boone Vs. Discotexx, Scalawag, Master Blaster feat Antony DeMarco, Joe Negro feat Taka Boom, Mac Zimms, Robie Rivera, Olav Basoski, Wigwam, Bedlam, Eric Powell, Discotexx...
My second promo DJ mix draws from some of the latest in Tech, Garage, Disco, Progressive, Jackin’, Funky, and Jazzy House. In a world that’s facing so many challenges and celebrating rich racial diversity, the message I want to share is simple: Global World Unity. House music has the power to bring people together, and that’s what this mix is all about—Love, Respect, Dance, and Happiness. Check it out now and you’ll hear standout tracks from artists such as: Ministers De-La-Funk, Jocelyn Brown, Gordon Matthewman, Jose Nunez, Jamiroquai, Junior Sanchez, Dajae B, Kojak, Phats & Small, Robbie Rivera, Kluster, Disco Galaxy 4, Carl Cox, Cassius, Daddy's Favorite...
This is my first recorded DJ promo mix uploaded online in 1999. As a resident DJ at the underground club Contrast, I taped many other live mixes before this one, but the recordings’ quality was often poor or the tapes were lost. This mix features House, Speed Garage, Tech House, and Jackin’ DJ styles. I spent a short time in these “music waters” in 1999, playing for younger house-music clubbers—it was a fun phase. You’ll also hear some Funky House, French Disco, and Uplifting House in this 74‑minute set. Here are the artists: Rinôçérôse, Eric Powell, Noise Destruction, Eddie Amador, CZR & Daryl Pandy, Kluster, Kingsly O, Robbie Rivera, Power House & Duane Harden, Arman Van Helden, Michael Jackson, Olav Basoski, Silvio Ecomo, Problem Boy, Mac Zimms, Phunke Soul...
