DeepLink DJ Mixes Archive
While working as a DJ in local clubs and venues, it’s only natural that I’ve gathered many great deep, soulful, jazzy house tracks. I began exploring good dance music in my teenage years in the late ’90s, and I’m still going strong. Over the years, I’ve been asked to mix some of the best house tracks for my friends and fans, so I decided it would be cool to share them online with the broadest possible audience. I’ve got plenty of DeepLink DJ Mixes on this website, feel free to listen, and if you really like them, download and share them with other house music lovers. Enjoy.
This mix was also submitted for Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) in NYC 2001. In contrast to the blue version, this one leans into dance-floor dynamics—perfect for parties and club nights rather than relaxing sets. You’ll hear twisted textures, breaks, horns, tech, disco, funky grooves, and deep vibes. It’s a compilation of tracks I’ve battered loud in the clubs, now unified in Orange Mastermix. It performed well for RBMA, and it could resonate with your audience as well. Enjoy: Brothers' Vibe, Twisted Pair, Petalpusher, Disco-Tex, Atari Playboys, Rick Garcia, Powder Production, Julius Papp, Inland Knights, Soul Of Puertorico, A Small Phat One, Jacob London, The Scumfrog, Halo & Hipp-E & Tony, Jakkata, Olav Basoski, Kevin Yost,.
While I was taking part in the Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA), I submitted this DJ mix and was honored to be selected for the 2001 New York City academy. It’s a special project for me—a fortunate moment that opened new doors. If you’re into lounge, chill, and house, you might want to download or listen with a cocktail or refreshing drink in hand. The mix is rich with depth and soul, weaving lounge textures, deep house, and a touch of tech. Overall, it’s a smooth, summery set that’s perfect for any bar, club, or birthday celebration. Enjoy: Llorca, Kimbu Kimra, Wink, Kevin Yost, Blue Six, Kings Of Tommorow, Li'Sha, Standard White Issue, Kevin Yost, Tony Watson, Mateo & Matos, Photek, The Path feat Marcell, Akabu, Brooks
DJ experiment: a practice session to sharpen new skills. I’m always up for it! This time, I tried something totally different: mixing a DJ set comprised of tracks that are already featured in other DJs’ mixes. We’ve done similar things before—remember those days of opening a fresh mix CD and wanting to drop a track right away? It’s tougher than it sounds: less time to cue, and getting the pitch right can be tricky. Yet, this spontaneous approach turned into one of my favorite mixes, highlight-worthy for its bold, on-the-fly vibe. Artists: Problem Kids, Zero Db, Nick Holder, Peace Division, Suba, Powder Productions, Orpheos, Plastic Avengers, Audiomontage, Halo Varga, Marino Berardi, Mood II Swing Killer Loop, Sound of Soul, Sandy Rivera & Jose Burgos
This DJ mix is the “other version” of the music style shift I planned for 2000, which I named Fast Change. If you’re after Funky, Disco, Uplifting, Progressive, and Deep Tech House, you’ll find it all in this mix. You’ll notice I’m still rooted in French House, but the focus here is funkier, with some of the finest deep house producers featured as well: Disco Pimps, JNX, Silicon Soul, Sunshine Funk, Gardeweg, Didier Sinclair & Chris, Rinôçérôse, Yonkapin, Discocaine, Conga Squad, C-Mos, Jark Prongo, Kevin Yost, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Chilly Hi-Fly, Salome De Bahia, DJ Zorra.
As an active resident DJ, I spent many nights behind the decks week after week. Over time, I realized I was steering my music toward pleasing a passionate crowd, which isn’t the best approach. So I pressed reset and returned to my musical roots: deep and soulful underground house. In this mix, I’ve curated and mixed tracks of genuinely high quality—ones I can still enjoy 15 or 25 years from now. It’s deeper, more jazzy, and funkier, with a stronger sense of soul. Here are the artists you’ll hear in this mix: Modern Quartet, Russ Gabriel's Audio Spectrum, Alton Miller, Nuages, Eglantine, Toni Mono, MD Company, Dance Or Die, Jovonn & DJ Deep, D'Julz Blaze, Incognito, DJ Q, Alison David & The Black Science Orchestra, Mood II Swing, Mateo & Matos
