DeepLink DJ Mixes Archive
While working as a DJ in local clubs and venues, it’s only natural that I’ve gathered many great deep, soulful, jazzy house tracks. I began exploring good dance music in my teenage years in the late ’90s, and I’m still going strong. Over the years, I’ve been asked to mix some of the best house tracks for my friends and fans, so I decided it would be cool to share them online with the broadest possible audience. I’ve got plenty of DeepLink DJ Mixes on this website, feel free to listen, and if you really like them, download and share them with other house music lovers. Enjoy.
I waited a long time for DJ software, and finally TRAKTOR was here. Native Instruments Traktor was in my hands, and I was more than ready to test it on this DJ mix. I crossed the analog–digital bridge and could finally use all my MP3s anytime, experiment with filtering, play with loops, and explore so much more. My first recorded mix with Traktor felt like a "point of no return." I’d never go back to turntables or CDs; to me, it’s all just a “music transport.” Music comes first, and I like it loud and clear. You’d be amazed at how much easier and faster it is to find and mix new tracks. I know this may be technically my weakest Traktor mix, but if you love deep & tech, uplifting house—check it out. I also included and mixed one of my tracks with my friend Buttke, “Don’t Tell Anyone (Closer Mix )". The Aquanauts, The To-ka Project, Chris Lum, Deep Groove Theory, Rick Preston, Kooki, Circulation, Danylo, Sven Väth, Back To Back, Jay-J, Gabriel & Doron, DJ Buck, Miguel Migs & Marc Jellybear,
This is probably my last DJ mix created without computer software. I used an old mixer, a few CD players, and a Technics 1210MK2. The end result was full of surprises—even for me: deep and energetic, with soulful vocals, jazzy chords, pockets of electronics, afro, funky, and techy vibes. I think you’ll like it as much as I do. I made a few mistakes, but that’s part of the charm of old gear. The music is great, and the mix is here to stay because I love it—and I hope you’ll love it too. Artists: Aaron Carl, Ricardo Dias, Two Banks Of Four, Slow Supreme, Chaser, Inland Knights, Joeski & Chus, Intrallazzi & Fratty feat Joanne, Frankie Knuckles, Voom:Voom, DJ Buck & Chris Lum, Lehner & Biebl, Silver Haze feat Karin Brown, Faze Action, Justin Robertson pres Revtone, Hi-Lo, Fresh & Low, Little Green Men, Yann Fontaine, Kevin Yost
Finally, this was my third and last DJ mix, compiled with records I bought during my NYC trip in September 2001. I really enjoyed mixing this set and discovering fresh, exciting tracks. All of these selections come from respected producers and singers such as: Solar House, St. Germain, Altocamet, Holland Tunnel, Martin Solveig, Tropical Deep, Jazz Brazillia, HErbie Hancock, Chaka Khan, Jovonn, Bass & Penn, DJ Shine, Teknostep, The DHJ Project, Teddy G, Jask...
Emotions is my second DJ mix, crafted and recorded after my return from New York City and the unforgettable stop at Satellite Records (R.I.P.). New York inspired me deeply, and the memories of that city’s pulse came flooding back as I mixed. The set spans deep, tech, and techno, capturing the emotional range of my visit. I hope it resonates with you and inspires a future trip to this vibrant place. Enjoy the music from: Dalunartikz , Solaris, Altocamet, Hot Lizard, Anti Trance Terrorists, Shuffle, Liquid Phonk, Angel Moraes, Bass & Penn, Full Intention feat Shena, Tropical Deep feat Jazz Brazillia, Rino Cerrone, Michael Peters...
During my September 2001 trip to New York City, the first place I craved visiting (and the spot I hung out at most) was Satellite Records (R.I.P.). It was “the store,” packed with superb deep house records, notable European imports, and a treasure trove of excellent US house that you rarely coudn't find in European vinyl shops. I picked up a bunch of records each day. After returning to Serbia, I mixed my first Deep Lounge set inspired by that experience. Much respect to: Teddy G, Kevin Yost, Blue Six, The DHJ Project, Jask, Tropical Deep, Jazz Brazillia, Suba, Bell & Everything, 7 Holland Tunnel, Lugo, Universal Tongues, Jovonn, Hot Lizard...
