Radio Shows Archive
I’ve spent more than ten years as a DJ on numerous local radio stations in my city, and I’ve always enjoyed mixing new electronic music and curating engaging radio programs. Radio is wonderful because you know someone’s listening, even if you don’t know who they are or how many are tuned in. However, I didn’t record many of my DJ sets, though I did capture a few of my latest sessions from my favorite radio station ever, IN RADIO Novi Sad (1998–2009, R.I.P.). My main goal was to promote new and classic deep, soulful, funky, jazzy, Latin, and tech-house music while having fun in the process. These radio shows were recorded exclusively without my talk, just good old house music. Thanks for listening.
It was simple: I’d find, download, prep, and mix fresh house tracks every Saturday night. People would tune in "like crazy" because it was new for them, new for me, and it felt like good old (new) house music all over again. You know these names, right? DJ Romain, Darryl D’Bonneau, Mod, Seawind, Emily McEwan, Demarkus Lewis, Audioguys, Herb Martin, L’Home C’est Chique, Metrosoul, The Beard, Lady Amma, Uneaq…
We’ve got one silky, smooth, jazzy, funky, soulful, and deeply rich mix here. I even dropped in my own track, “It’s gotta be deep”, give it a listen! What I did on the radio station every Saturday: I’d spin my current deep house hits list and fresh new tracks each week, with a little chat in between to keep the energy going. Some artists I’m into these days include Freak Commission, The Regionalists, Jan Kruger, Cajmere, Kiko Navarro, Jah Ques, Cory Wells, MFM feat. George Caper, Weekend World, Blacksoul, The Coffee Kidz, and Deepgroove.
